so I had a tic attack. I live with my grandparents and dad. my dad understands what I'm going through but my grandparents...not so much. anyways I took a piece of pasta and put it in my mouth before I started having a tic attack and later my grandfather came over to me and was essentially interagating me about what I was doing and I spit the piece of pasta at him when I had a tic and so now I'm in trouble with my grandparents šŸ˜ƒšŸ‘

I really like both these comments! Itā€™s hard to control them. One night I was at dinner with my suitemate and our friend and I had a tic and accidentally threw a fry at him and then a couple of minutes later I ended up having another tic and throwing my bottle of soda at his head. Those were all accidents we canā€™t help it and when I suppress it hurts and then comes back stronger or in a tic attack. My grandma doesnā€™t understand either so I definitely understand that too. Itā€™s definitely not easy but weā€™re all here for each other and Iā€™m so glad I found all of you! Itā€™s nice to know Iā€™m not aloneā˜ŗļøšŸ’œ

Sometimes tics can be so annoying. The worst part is when you get in trouble for them and have to somehow explain yourself, and with my vocal tics people always stare and it's awkward šŸ˜¬ even when you do explain it some people just say "to control it" or something. And yeah I agree with the other reply @flintdances if people don't understand its their problem not yours and that you know that it's never your fault for what your tics do

Ouch! Yeah my grandma doesn't understand the tics I have. One time I told her to "f off and die." I IMMEDIATELY apologized and just had to deal with her saying how disrespectful I was. The biggest thing is that YOU know you can't control it. If people don't understand that's their problem not yours
