Started as Rheumatic fever in 1961, resulted in juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis so it's been with me 60 years and gets more difficult to function as time goes by.

I’m so sorry you are dealing with this. I’ve had JRA since I was 12. I’m 36. Clearly I don’t know your medical history. Have you tried dietary protocols? Diet greatly helps, in conjunction with pharmaceuticals for me. I have periods of remission. Flares have been triggered by post pregnancy and lapses in stringent dietary protocols. If you are at all curious about the diet that has helped me, feel free to DM. I am a huge proponent of a certain alternative medicine healer. I realize you have battled this for so long, I hope my words don’t come off as disrespectful. Again, I have no idea what you have tried to help ease discomfort. Everyone’s body is different and what works for some won’t work for others. I know this.

I've been dealing with RA for almost 15 years and it's hard. I can't imagine living with it for 60 years. I'm sure that I can learn a lot from you.
