Lately I've been stressing so much. So much so that I am back on my 150mg of Effexor. I've lost nearly 50lbs due to the stress. I just feel lost lately.

Meditation has been a big help for me in dealing with my stress. I've noticed several additional health benefits. The body produces Cortisol when the mind is stressed. This triggers our fight or flight response, almost 24/7. Meditation is my time to feel like I'm in a safe place. There are lots of simple, even 1 minute guided meditation videos and tracks on spotify. I'm sure a handful of other platforms offer this resource too. I hope you can find peace, my friend!

@kay3 I have already had my mood start to level out again. Though I only started it up again like 2days ago.

@kay3 I’m on 225 of Effexor and it’s been a life changing thing for my stress. That and therapy of course. I’m dealing with a ton of stressful things right now and can just live my life like normal during all this chaos. Never was able to do so before

I find that structured meal times really help me with feeling “in control”. And meal times are a good excuse to de-stress for a few moments. I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been so stressed!!

@honeycomb36 tysm for this. 💕 I think maybe trying to set alarms might help me get back into the groove of eating properly again.
