The first item on a good to do list is "make a to do list"!

I also find it very satisfying and productive when I'm able to cross something off the list.. even if it's not a big thing..
@nsiberian I've been known to write things like... 1. Put bowls in the dishwasher 2. Put plates in the dishwasher 3. Put silverware in the dishwasher It is very satisfying to cross things off. Sometimes I'll even add things to the list that I've already done just to cross it off, especially my grocery list! Because if the cosmic brownies were on the list, I had to buy them, even though they were already in the cart. Lol
I think cleaning helps my anxiety, so the worse it is, the cleaner my house is. But I also get migraines, so sometimes I'm like full speed for so many days trying to make up for the shitty days I did nothing, then it's just a cycle, high highs and low lows, do what ya can when ya can and try not to over do it, even though that can be a fine line. I swear the only thing I can control in my life is how clean my house and car are. But when it's not perfect I feel complete choas..so I guess chaos and anxiety are my motivation..ugh.. not a very good answer for ya
@nsiberian I'm the same way! But if I can't do it the way I want to (perfectly) I have a hard time even getting started.
@brendaboppers oh yes, I feel that!!! If you have time and feel well try to make a lil plan of attack? I like making lists of things that need done.. and in the exact order they need to be done in.. or it all gets wonky. Maybe you would find some benefit from that??
