how do I manage my ADHD without medication?
I do LOTS of lists. Body doubling to accomplish things. Therapy for coping skills
seconding making lists. helps keep everything in order. I am also in therapy. I also make use of my reminders app and calendar app on my phone a lot. I also just tend to buy things that can make my life a bit easier, youtube “adhd friendly home”
is therapy helping you? I want to take therapy but idk if it’s worth it
If it works for you, alarms and timers.
I use alarms, list and good discipline. Not for the feint of heart. I haven’t taken meds since I was 9
I have probably 200 reminders on my phone and 40 alarms. Couldn’t remember a single thing without them. Lists and note taking are great too. I heavily rely on notes especially at work because I can’t remember what I did/ need to do.. or what I’m taught sometimes
Exercise consistently. Eat and hydrate too.
I write everything down and I put a lot of it in my calendar. I was going to therapy but not atm. Waiting for my healthcare, I started a new job.
