StressedMess

544d

hey y'all was just wondering if anyone has had any relief or remedy with something for the itchy/crawling feeling. It makes it almost impossible to get to sleep and it is causing extra stress I don't need, and it is keeping me up super late. I have tried itch relief creams, lotions, eczema creams, scratching is making it worse but it is impossible not too, tried cold packs, etc. Also I can't take Melatonin due to Epilepsy.

      Gabapentin helps me with that.

@Annye gabapentin has saved my existence. It doesn't work for everyone but it was one of my miracles.

For me it was a shower RIGHT before sleep. But now I also have some weighted blankets I put on me and something in headphones I can pay attention to, to not have to pay as much attention to the physical issuea.

I usually get that in my legs/arms. Weirdly one thing I’ve found helpful is wrapping tight a wet towel around my legs, it helps me change the sensation better than any other hot/cold techniques. Sometimes compression pants work but it can be hard to fall sleep in. I wish there was a better fix!!

Have you tried a mixture of chamomile and lavender in a tea to help with sleep? Also, myrrh oil with spearmint oil added to a cream can help with itch.
