I recently discovered the term demigirl and it answered a lot of feelings I've had for a long time. I am AFAB though and don't feel like I count as being trans? I'm having a hard time adjusting to discovering this about myself and just having a lot of negative self-talk. Sometimes I can't tell if I'm have gender dysphoria or just body dismorphia. I keep thinking, "How can I have dysphoria when I'm an AFAB demigirl?" Anyway, I would appreciate some insight if anyone has any to share.

Demigirl is under the trans umbrella, and piggybacking off of what Dabi(Pluto707) said, gender dysphoria can happen to anyone. You are valid, never forget that. šŸ’—

Dysphoria can happen regardless of how you identify. You are 100% valid. You are allowed to identify as trans if you want. Whatever makes you comfortable. Screw everyone else. ā€”Dabi
