Dude do yk whati hate? how the world percieves people with adhd- like alot of neurotypical people assume that to have adhd u have to be bouncing off the walls and super energetic all the time and half the time dont even believe u have it if u have adhd but arent energetic. like its more of a focusing issue and just ppl with adhd tend to thing a bit differently, not a how energized are u thing yk, people always just assume im faking it for attention its so annoying

Even psychiatrists are guilty of this. Hence why I'm not actually diagnosed.

I completely get this. When I went to the GP to start my diagnosis for ADHD the Dr looked me (a larger bloke) up and down and said "well it's not going to be hyperactive is it. Its more likely ADD"

@TJisTired christ thatā€™s horrible Iā€™m not super into exercise myself lol ā€“ for me hyperactivity is more in my mind as well as with fidgeting

@lasaaagna same here, and then people proceed to say im faking adhd because i dont bounce off the walls at all timee. not sure that people get that its more of a focus issue than anything, being hyperavtive or a hyper person doesn't define it everytime

I feel you, I feel like thatā€™s what delayed my diagnosis so much. Iā€™m extremely lethargic all of the time.
