what is considered an eating disorder relapse for food restricting?

I think that if you’re curious that you may be relapsing, that is probably your best indicator that you are. I would say from personal experience that relapse looked like resorting back to ED behaviors the majority of the time. Perhaps I knew the behaviors were maladaptive but I wasn’t willing to stop engaging with the ED. If it is to the point that you have curiosity about whether you’re relapsing, that is probably your best indicator as to whether or not you actually are. Sending love to you 💛

@chanel what about semi-consciously finding excuses for restricting even though trying to recover?

If three months after recovery you limit your eating and lose weight again, it's considered a recurrence.
