if you work a five day week, make sure one of your two days off is a day for you to just chill out, don't do anything, you don't even have to get out of bed if you can help it. just do what causes you the least pain. if your days off aren't consecutive, ask if it would be possible to make them so. it really helps to have a two day recovery period before starting your work week
