▪︎Some people say: it's easy to leave the person and get yourself out of the situation. But what they don't tell you is how hard it is to walk away, how hard it is to unlearn certain habits, how to unlearn that not everyone is out to attack, how to deal with the ptsd attacks and learn what triggers you, how to unlearn everything you went through, how to learn to speak your story, how to learn how strong you are n how much you've overcome, how to unlearn that you are so much more than what that person said about you, you are worth so much more, pick up your armor and keep fighting those demons. It is so much easier for the person who's never been in the situation to say how easy it is, until you go through it yourself. I'm still learning every day, and I'm still learning that I am loved. It's been 4 years and it still hits in waves, the nightmares still happen, the ptsd attacks still hit and it doesn't just magically go away it just gets easier to process, to deal with and to talk about. I feel for every woman who has ever felt this way, because I know I have. I am a survivor. ❤️▪︎
