Does anyone feel like their heart starts randomly beating really hard, or feels like it’s beating fast where it causes breathlessness, but you have a normal heart rate while it’s happening??

that's just heart palpitations! everyone gets them sometimes, and if your heart is beating normally as far as rate and rhythm go during these episodes, it's nothing to worry about

yes I do...soon after my 2 ER visits, I went to my cardiologist who put a 4 day Holter monitor on me and found some pvc's but said they weren't harmful. Also performed a echocardiogram and ekg which he said YOUR HEART IS BEAUTIFUL. so I don't know what's causing my symptoms. If I go to the gym and get on the treadmill or elliptical trainer....my heart rate goes up to 150 beats per minute....immediately!! I'm barely even moving and it shoots up like if I'm running a marathon

Yes! I have even been hospitalized because my heart beat, doing nothing, was at 212 per min.

@Diane.2 what did they say it was caused by? I've been in the ER twice in less than 2 weeks for sinus tachycardia. They thought it was caused by anxiety but after administration of anxiety meds....my heart rate was still high...so then they gave me something for the heart...to lower the heart rate...and it didn't work....so they just sent me home....WITH a rapid heart beat😟😩

@Cubamex But do you have a cardiologist?

@Cubamex They didn't find anything in reality so they just assumed that I was really exhausted and I needed sleep or maybe was the same thing, anxiety.

Yep, heart palpitations. I’ve had them forever thanks to anxiety. Still… see a cardiologist if you haven’t yet ❤️

It is possible to have palpitations without tachycardia. Sometimes something as minor as stress or exhaustion can cause this. But it is good to monitor your heart rate and blood pressure if you're feeling this way frequently.

Sometimes! I also have random periods where my heartbeat feels incredibly irregular. It's bad enough that my partner, who faints at the sound of heart beats typically, says my heart is the only one he can listen to because it's so wrong. I'm concerned but no doctor has said anything about it and ive had exams during one of these periods of time so I'm scared im just being paranoid.
