Hi everyone… First I want to say that I’m happy to be here but also not happy because I’m assuming nobody wants to be sick and have medical problems… My question is that with having a thyroid issue and now this hiatal hernia and stomach issues I have been having chest pain and have gone to the ER several times and they always check my heart and say that everything is good, but so why am I having this and the chest pains and my blood pressure goes up to like 180/98 and sometimes higher… I’m so frustrated… Any advice on what to do… ty in advance to all of you beautiful people

I have this problem even on my medication. We are more prone to panic attacks and anxiety attacks. Anxious situations we try and stop them while your are having an attack then it leads to your body panicking and your chest hurting like someone stabbed you and it's not going away. 😥😥 I went on atenolol now and have to see a stress therapist. Frights, extreme happiness, extreme hypertension, being upset all trigger your anxiety and stress on the body. I know this is a lot but seeing a stress therapist has helped the chest pains not being so frequent while living life. Hopefully it helps.

@Breezy1012 yes, but I don’t have great insurance so it’s more of a clinic and she just says I’m referring you to specialist and I’ve just seen two of them and there like your blood work that we did came back ok… And I know I’m not a doctor but damn like we know our bodies and even the ER feels so bad cuz there like it’s not normal for your blood pressure to be this high and that there’s obviously something wrong… like 3 and half years ago when I was full term pregnant 8 months with my daughter I weighed 170 pounds and just about 4 months later I gained 150 pounds and I am a very active person with a newborn and I started feeling tired all the time and Woozie so they did my blood and said my thyroid is all whacked out so they put me in meds and ever since then I have all the rest of this wrong with me and it’s scary to have chest pain and your blood pressure o ok if the charts and pain…. I don’t get it
