Hello, I was wondering if anyone has any tips for managing burn out. i have ASD and ADHD, and I think I have been burnt out for like a really, really long time. I can never feel relaxed and I am always underlyingly exhausted. I have also been in a dissociative (derealization) state for years (possibly due to trauma as well). If any one has any tips to help they would be greatly appreciated ❤️

If possible, give yourself a mandatory rest day. Last year, I pushed myself to burnout in my Academics that I skipped a day to just sleep and relax. I can say that it did wonders.

If possible , take at least one day a week to just be lazy. Take a bath, watch your favorite show, sleep in, order food instead of cooking. Hang out with your friends, family, or partner (s). Just do things you love and don’t think too much about it. It helps.

These are all great tips!!! Smth that helps me the most though (sometimes) is just doing it anyway. Are you burnt out from writing and have been for a long time? Do it anyway. Burnt out on a video game? Do it anyway. Do this with things you like doing and the rest comes easier. At least for me. It's just genuinely *doing it anyway* Ofc this only works when you start off w something easy that you usually really really like doing

If you try meditation using Binaural Beat Music, you will feel uplifted, relieved and relaxed. Right now, I’m using Solfeggio Frequencies to rehabilitate and recover my spirit. Using either Solfeggio Frequency or Binaural Beats for meditation help in the long run. 🙏

Figure out what part of your life is stressing you out to this degree and change it. This includes not having an adequate routine or coping mechanisms used to help regulate your emotions like stimming. Also work in stuff to relax yourself a bit throughout the day and make sure you're getting enough alone time to regulate and process your emotions.

Empower yourself. Do less of the things you cannot stand and more of the things you like for me ex Dislike: noise Enjoy: foreign movies. 💕 :)
