I just got diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Are there any treatments that anyone would suggest?

my doctor recommended physical therapy to me and i've been going for about a year now, it's gotten a bit more manageable that way.

My rheumatologist put me on low dose naltrexone. I’ve been on a month now. My fatigue levels decreased, and the my brain fog has almost completely cleared up. I still get some pains in my hips but the shooting pains I’ve had in my entire body are gone. It’s very helpful combined with my other meds.

i got put on an antidepressant called amitryptiline and i’ve noticed it doesn’t always reduce daily pain but it makes my flare ups immensely shorter. in my opinion it’s worth it, no more 5 day migraines and weeks of debilitating pain

I get medical massages, acupuncture, and cupping and they all help me. You can also find a medication that works for you if you want to go that route. There’s options but they all work differently for different people so you may have to try a couple until you find the best one.
