I’m tired of trying to get better. I’ve been depressed for so long and I was finally doing better till life hit and now I’m right back where I was before. I feel like a burden and a failure and I hate continually going to people. I’m tired of living.

As hard as it can be tro try to find the positives throughout the day and in life try your best to hold on to those as little as they might be. And look at the ones who love you the most and move forward for not only them but mainly for you. Please stay strong, do things that bring you some joy to distract you from the darkness and it that state of a little bit of joy you can help to takes steps forward for yourself. I'm sure you are an amazing person. The world can be dark but there is always a light, it's just hard to see sometimes. Don't give up. Proud of you for posting this.

I’d like to make the suggestion of finding your coping skills and self-care options. Depression can be so debilitating, so please understand I am not trying to force you into anything, but if you can make the smallest, most attainable goals to reach each day, you’ll see a difference. When life hits, we often don’t know what to do or how to react, except to vent. However, that doesn’t always work because there isn’t really a solution to find in venting. Self-care is preventative and coping is in the moment. Google has TONS of options to get you started and you’ll find your own flow as you continue on your journey to take care of your mental well-being. I really struggled with this, and I still have my days, but my coping skills always reassure me in the moment, and I am able to collect myself again. I would love to help you if you’d like, and I can do my best to walk you through it. Lastly, please know that you are already accomplishing one small goal that you didn’t even set: you are reaching out for help. That’s HUGE. Please don’t give up. There is still fight in you and you deserve to live peacefully.

I hear you 😥. It's important to remember that this will pass and you can get to a better place. All the work you did trying to get better is not for nothing, change and growth takes time. You can get through this 💕
