    What has helped me the most is DBT. It's slow and it takes work, but understanding your emotions and how you react is the first step! Identify your triggers and analyze it without your emotions, step away from the situation, and see it as an outsider. After some time, you will get better. I'm glad you recognize that this pattern is not healthy and it seems like you want to do better. I'm proud of you!
