If I'm off my meds the best thing I can do for myself is get enough sleep and eat well. It essentially serves the same function as medication--clears out unnecessary noise so you can even attempt your other coping mechanisms

Keeping important objects in the same spot (keys stay on the key hook by the door, etc), having a calendar and making lists for things I need to complete for the day, having a routine and doing things that make me feel good about myself

Energy drinks and gum help me personally. The energy drinks have caffeine which slows my brain down, but other stuff that gives my body energy so i just come off as a slightly hyper normal person. And gum for stiming
