Also, as a retired RN, take that pain med as soon as you think it might be. The sooner the medicine can kick in, the less painful it will be. Also, like everyone said, take long baths, play soothing music, burn a candle that smells nice, and generally just relax! 🙂

The best advice a doctor ever gave me was to listen to your body. That's def a flair. You've been given advice already. Your best bet to relax and rest. I like to take Epson salt soaks when I'm bad. It helps lower my stress, too. I set up candles, make some tea and play some music.

A friend Told me not to think about the pain. And how the heck am I supposed to do that??? 95% of my body hurts since 2008. She need to mind her own business. Until she walks in my shoes she needs to shut up.

@Elladolores yes I hate when people say that, it's like u don't know my struggle so stay in your lane Hun, gentle hugs
I’m having one now been up doing things left and right already hurting but I always push myself. Now the pain increased from 1-10 a 9. I took my meds two hours ago. My whole torso feels like is being crushed my right leg as well. I been limping I just took a migraine pill. And I have I’m not done yet. I wish I could disconnect my body and send it for a tune up.
@Elladolores I've thought that so many times.
@Elladolores I understand honey but just try stay above the pain by taking ur meds and staying hydrated. My flare ups always happen when I'm stressed out and my depression is kicking my butt and I'm not eating ro drinking or sleeping like I should if your body is saying to rest, do that Hun, I hope u feel better soon

@Shelley711 yes stress is a trigger for me as well.
❤️call a friend and try to laugh and talk about other things to help ease your depression. The longer I stay down the harder it is to get up.
Stress can cause your flare ups. Listen to Shelley711......You don't want to stay in a flare mode for weeks or months!!!!!
@Lani_Girl thanks hun
What's your symptoms
@MystikMandy @notcrazy I'm have a lot of joint pain and muscle pain and weakness
@Beccajane73 that sounds like a flare up
@Beccajane73 yes honey, try not to stress about it s d keep the pain down if u have pain meds or Advil. Warm baths or showers and heating pad helps me alot. Also make sure you stay hydrated. I hope you feel better soon.
