How does one handle going into work even when you're severely depressed? I work in retail and do not deal with the best management and cannot take a temporary leave either due to me not being there long enough yet, however, I can't leave the job anytime soon due to bills and such. But everytime I go into work, I panic and cry in the bathroom before my shift, and I'm pretty sure my manager is irritated with how much I cry at this point and me calling out frequently (but not on purpose). If anyone has any advice or is able to relate, please leave those comments below. I feel so weak and alone with this and all they see me as is overdramatic about it all and being way too emotional.

      The first sentence really grabbed me... I feel this on such a deep level. It takes the willpower if a god to get me to keep coming in and I've been calling in a lot more. I'm at my desk now and all I wanna do is cry in the bathroom and have spent the first 3 hrs of mt shift trying to breathe. Just trying to breathe. Its so hard. Our feelings are normal. Mental health is real. We weren't meant to go it alone. It doesn't make us lazy or weak. In an ideal work we could live with someone who loved us and be supported while we heal whats put us in this place. I'm so sorry you relate. Personally I'm "managing" this morning by posting on here, some headphones, and stopping often to step away and get some water.
