Does anyone find it invalidating when people don’t believe/ agree with their diagnosis? Because I am “doing well” for myself or “highly functioning” (whatever that means) people in my life don’t believe I struggle with BPD. And because they are dismissive, they can’t possibly understand how difficult every day is for me. The ups and downs of emotions, impulsivity, suicidal ideation, etc. It sucks to feel invalidated by the people that I love. It just feels really really alone.

Yeah I get that I used to burn myself out to be seen as “normal” turns out I was just ignoring my physical health

I can 1000% relate to thus. It's infuriating.
