Waiting for Relief: How Long Does it Take for Medication to Work?

How long does it take to work? I’m losing hope as I took the three loading dose and still feel no relief. I’m due for my next dose next week and hope I feel a little something.

      @Mavis_Beacon I am taking it for AS as well. I did humira for 6 months and felt nothing. I switched to Simponi and I started feeling better immediately but after about a year it stopped working. I switched to Cimzia and it took about 4 months but my rheumatologist said to give it 6 months for the full effect. That was just my experience, but hopefully that helps. I would definitely talk to your rheumatologist if you don't feel anything after a few more doses though

      It can take up to 6 months. Give it more time. I hope you find some relief soon!
