Does anybody have any tiricks for speeding up the time it takes for a flare up to go away? i have been using my clindamycin topical ointment but I have two pesky spots that aren't going away. i don't really want to go to the derm to get them drained unless I have to.

What I do if it’s open is spray with wound wash once a day and cover it lightly with mupirocin and a bandage. It been helping me. Also when I notice a flare up I start monitoring my sugar intake and take anti anxiety medication. Helps a lot.

have you tried ichthammol salve/ointment? i haven’t tried it yet but the last time i saw my dermatologist, she recommended it for the really painful spots that don’t seem to wanna go away. she specifically said a lot of her patients like the Legends brand, but idk if that matters or not. it’s about $10-15
