To you other amazing, strong ladies who are unique enough to have combined type ADHD out there…what do your hyperactive symptoms look like and how do you deal with them? Fidgety, interruptive boys are restless or hyper. Women are disruptive or rude.

I am constantly moving my tongue against my bottom teeth and move my toes. And a lot of time time I bounce my leg and fidget with my hands. I don’t think that I interrupt people talking that much but I think I kinda learned not to because I do have the urge to do it kinda often. And sometimes when I’m really comfortable with my friends or family, I get really hyper and crazy but I’m not always like that. Also, sometimes I get a burst of energy and I clean my whole room or I do a whole project or paint a whole canvas.

19f. I talk a lot a very fast, fidget constantly, interrupt a bit too much, tend to randomly wander around, ect. Honestly I have a stereotypical presentation. Lol

You are correct. What do you all think are your ADHD strengths?

Let's not be venemous and spiteful just because we've encountered some trauma, eh? This is supposed to be a positive place. 🙏

I mask alot using alot of energy , with intrupting everyone or going into my own head. But been better cause of meds. Like my hyperactivity would really destroy my sleep schedule , like I did one of those 3d puzzles in 3 hours for my Boss just for a gift or a project and have to finish it and have it be prefect if not I'd have a break down with crying. But now I can stop at a good time and know if it's not prefect that's okay. But even with meds and mental excersis when I'm in my hyperfocus I get quiet and distant witch can hurt people's feelings and annoy others.

I tend to speak out of turn, talk to loudly and need to constantly get out of my chair (esp if I'm bored). I've started keeping fidget toys and a creative project at my desk during work hours so I stay out and have something else to focus on if I feel the need to speak out of turn. Has been working fairly well so far

Meds, exercise, mindfulness, and a decent diet all help me but it’s still so hard

I zone out, and speak when others are talking, and fidget but I have been doing better, since diagnosis and medicine
