So I’ve never found anyone who truly doesn’t sweat so hi!! As early as I could remember, I’ve never sweat. Like the only ‘sweat’ I have is my upper lip, and it’s not enough to even consider. But it makes my eczema flare up right there. I overheat in 70-75 degree weather, my face turns bright red, get bad migraines, and basically get to heat illness. My job is super accommodating, as most of the summer I work outside in the heat. But I’m interested to hear about others experiences. Also, do you have any other conditions that may tie into this? I have a decent list of heath problems but no one can seem to tie them together.

I have never sweat anywhere, ever. Because this is so rare, I am curious as to whether I have an issue with my hypothalamus, which controls body temperature. Other physical symptoms I have that are related to the hypothalamus include cluster headaches, diabetes insipidus, hypotension, low libido, sleep/wake problems, fatigue, appetite, short stature, and regressing vision. I have also been diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, Depression, Anxiety, and PTSD. People think it's crazy that there is so much wrong with me, but what I find crazy is how everything ties back to the hypothalamus. I'm hoping my doctor will listen to my concerns and I will get a referral to a neurologist who can order an MRI of my brain. Just food for thought for the rest of y'all, wish me luck! Let me know your thoughts.

I have the same type of dishydrosis and never even considered why I get a rash on my upper lip. You helped me see it! My long list of severe allergies makes my eczema worse especially when the weather isn't consistent...aka...all the time. Something that helped me was shaving my face so whatever I applied (cream or wet cloth) could seep in and work faster.

Sent you a PM, I also suffer from this and have eczema and severe dry skin as a result. I have always been told that anhydrosis is a symptom rather than a condition on its own, but I've never had it tied with anything.

Have you been to endocrinologist about the sweating issue? I have been one to always be cold. I’d rather be a tiny bit colder than hot cuz I too get migraines from the heat. I also was never one to sweat much. It never really was a big problem for me so never addressed it. However, now I’m trying to go to an endocrinologist because I’m now having blood sugar issues (high and low.) When I go high I sweat so bad and I’m not used to it. But it’s now causing itchy rash on my back. Eczema wise maybe see a dermatologist. All I can think of is maybe using like aquaphor or Vaseline on your upper lip. Might help a bit as a barrier. Not sure.
