At work the DoN was talking about ADHD and the symptoms and I related to almost all of them. It makes so much sense. So that goes to my question, as a total newbie to this. What are some things you do, or have found to help with concentration/motivation as that the hardest thing.

Being prescribed atomoxetine/strattera helped me SO much. It's an every day SNRI and I feel like I can focus and get things done so much easier. For non-med things, i use one of those plant focus timer apps. You get water for your virtual plants the more you use your timer uninterrupted. Like, if you set it for 5 minutes or an hour, you can only use apps that you've whitelisted during that time or you don't get the water for that session.
I myself need some sort of auditory stimulation to keep me in a work flow. Sometimes it's podcasts, audiobooks, or a show/movie that I'm familiar with to just occupy part of my brain. I rarely do music, but if I do I find that instrumental helps the most. I usually listen to Electric Jazz, it has up and interesting beats.
