      I was never diagnosed with this but I am a survivor of dv. I journal, take anti depressants plus I just started therapy.

      Therapy for sure but try to be honest about the type of trauma so you can find someone who specializes. Also don't move faster than you are ready and make sure you establish some good supports, coping skills, and safety plans before diving into the heavy stuff. The tunnel is dark but the other side is worth it.

        @daniellealexanna That's been the hard part, finding a doctor versed in trauma care. My psych only does ADHD and won't even discuss co-morbidities without making me feel like I'm drug seeking or a hypochondriac. I need someone that gets it, not just someone that can offer platitudes and SSRIs. One of my coworkers had ketamine sessions but I'm worried about cost

      Hard to medicate, docs usually treat the symptoms like anxiety or depression it causes. They say therapy is best if you only suffer the one disorder.
