The biggest thing I noticed when changing my lithium dose, or starting a new dose, is nausea. I usually feel pretty awful for the first couple of days. It might also make you kind of tired lease in my experience. I’ve been on it for about two years now, and I definitely think it helps me. The biggest thing is going to be making sure your doctor stays on top of your lithium level. If it rises too much it can cause lithium toxicity, which is definitely not good.
