I know what my problem is. This may sound crazy I think I was experiencing music withdrawals. I might have been using music as a crutch to deal with my stress and since I broke my headphones, I haven't really been listening to it as much. I became for irritable and was anxious more than normal. Please tell me what you think 🙏🏾

It sounds like you've been using music as a coping method, which is totally fine! That's actually a very easy and safe way to handle your anxiety if it works for you. Sorry your headphones broke! I recommend looking for alternative ways of coping with stress that don't involve music so you can use them in situations like this, in times when you can't listen to music, or just for some variety. Breathing strategies, visualizations, going for a walk, or reframing your thoughts among other things might be useful. Maybe they don't work as well but it's better than nothing. The irritability you're feeling is most likely a side effect of your increased anxiety, it happens to the best of us. The breaking of your headphones has removed a major source of comfort from you, so it's only natural your anxiety has spiked. Having a variety of coping methods can be very helpful in combating that. Please let me know if you want more info on anything I mentioned, we can DM if you'd like! Hope you find a solution soon 😊

The same thing happens to me. I think it's like a comfort thing but I'm not sure.
