I have been on norco for 8 years now. I hate it. What do you think about getting a pain pump instead?

I got off bunch of prescription pill medicine because I just wasn't get good relief. I used thc and Rick Simpson oil to wean and get off. I was doing awesome because rso helps soo much but now I can't get the medicine that's a treatment to calm my rare movement disorder down back. Making no sense because they say get deep brain surgery. But rso has been a lifesaver for me. All alternative medicine allow me functional quality of life. I do take pain medication sometimes so I can chew. Trying to keep on weight a struggle. One of my brothers had to have a pain pump.

And I got disabled at 30 w a very bad back so my pain is intense never ending
@planetclaire I’m sorry you are suffering so much. I too was put down initially by my bad back. I have had 7-8 surgeries. I finally got a spinalcord stimulator and it takes care of the sciatica.
🙏yes targeted pain I have RA OA fibro all over pain I use delta 8 it's very low thc .3% helps me alot regular cannabis too strong
I was once in a pain clinic that wanted to implant a pain pump for my waist down pain. I went through the interview process and testing. I had heard scary things about the functioning of a pain pump and it’s problems. I ran scared outta that clinic and never went back. I am surfing the pain 8 years later with cannabis and CBD creme. Muscle relaxers during the day. I cannot take NSAIDs . So I self treat otc and Rx meds and sprays etc. topicals and gummies or vape or flower. This fibromyalgia I don’t think, would be well served from a pump. It’s transitory. Pumps are for targeted treatment I think?
Knowing what the pain is from makes a big difference in how to treat it. I have fibromyalgia pain, OA pain, RA pain, and back pain. I cannot take nsaids or Tylenol and no longer meloxicam. So I rely on Diclofenac gel (can't take the pills) Robaxin for day time muscle relaxer, cyclobenzaprine for night time muscle relaxer, tramadol at night when there is too much pain (very sparingly). I have had epidural injections for my sciatica and nerve ablations for my lumbar pain. I have also taken gabapentin, but I don't like to because my already numb feet go completely numb and I injure myself. Pain pumps are usually directed at very specific areas and usually for nerve blocking.
What is the pain from
