i’ve always had problems making friends. i’m on so many friend apps and have been trying to make friends at college but it seems like every time i try it falls thru the cracks. i’ve always wanted to be a part of a friend group, or a group chat, a best friend, literally anything like that. i feel so different than everyone. i just need one person so i can get through this sh!tty world.

I have a friend but I can’t for the life of me being my self to hang out with her. I’m so antisocial but crave friends at the same time.. it’s weird

I know exactly how you feel. My only friend is my husband. Ive never had a girls night out. I can't remember the last time I had an actual best friend. If you want to chat I'm here

Same. My bff is my sister but I know I can be emotionally taxing on her. I had a bf who just moved out today. A bit lost now cause there is literally no one that relates to me to talk to.

@threehottamales i’m glad you have your sister, i think she would let you know if it got to be too much. but i feel this, only having one person. i only have one friend. when he's busy i look at my phone and see no notifications and it just hurts really bad. grateful for my one friend though

@liv1248 she has told me that hearing me is exhausting and she can't imagine what its like to be me. Not with judgemt or complaining. I try to be conscious of not exhausting her with my ups and downs. One minute feeling like crap and next like a queen. Try to keep positive vibes her way and avoid trauma discussions now that are hard for her to hear.

The older I got, the harder it was to make friends. By the end of high school I had some loose friendships. When I went to college I made "friends" but they always did things together and didn't invite me. I'm engaged now and live with my fiance. I don't have any friends, and it's been a hard pill to swallow as we plan a wedding. It really makes me feel like there is more wrong with me than just my mental health.

Totally understand this. My only friend is my boyfriend and I’ve been trying to make friends for years, but I feel like it’s even harder than dating was.
