I feel like I'm not living up to my full potential. My health holds me back. Migraines cause me to miss work, my chronic fatigue makes me take micronaps and not concentrate well. I always felt that if I had no health problems, I could achieve so much. It's a terrible feeling, and I don't know how to shake it. Other people just tell me to go for my dreams and don't give up, but if they had the limitations I do... For or instance, you can't be a pharmacist if you call out all the time, or you are too tired too concentrate when accuracy is key. I was actually accepted into a doctorate program to become a pharmacist, and I had to back out. It felt like s***

@Boholife that’s understandable! It’s not an easy thing to do, because it can feel like you have to give up everything when you face grief. But you can still reach goals and dream big! You are able to adapt and find ways to do what you feel you were meant to, because that passion is there. I hope that you can find people willing to work with you and give you that chance to show how dedicated you are to your passions.

I understand this situation all too well. And it’s so hard when people don’t fully grasp your hard limits, then make suggestions that are just not helpful. It’s frustrating that the world is not set up to allow for alternative work conditions and accommodations to disabling conditions that we cannot control. You’re definitely not alone, and I hope that you can find some solidarity through community. It’s okay to be upset at what you aren’t able to do. Take your time to feel through these things, and grieve for what you lost because of your conditions.

@MatchaBunn the thing is, I'm not willing to grieve, I keep hoping that it'll happen someday. I'm a dreamer.
