I have been feeling short of breath for 5 days now. I keep on sighing or yawning to relieve this sensation, but it only helps temporarily. It seems to come and go, but I keep on hyperfocusing on my breathing and has made me have severeral panic attacks since I first noticed it.

      This happened to me back in 2020, the yawns were my only solace!! If I remember correctly, lying on my stomach helped. Also, it was totally anxiety related for me, so most likely there is nothing wrong with your lungs :) Also didn't help that i was having shortness of breath during the START OF COVID. Practice box breathing, try to limit stress (as much as a person with anxiety can) and try experimenting with different things such as raising your arms over your head (opens your lungs) or like i said before, lying on your stomach. Hope you feel better!!
