For me I explain the horrible child abuse I went through that caused my bpd I don't know your story and how you got diagnosed but that's what I do oh and I wait till I feel like I can trust them some people can be mean so I wait till I know their character better

I would say sit them down tell them that you have been diagnosed with it and if they have any questions ask you and if you have any requests tell them
