Vent sorta. Whenever someone raises their voice at me or yells at me it makes me start to break down and loose trust in that person for awhile. And also when someone puts their hand by my face or moves their hand closely by me I make a screaming kind of noise, flinch really badly, then get into a defense pose. People will laugh at it and it makes me feel bad. I don’t know how to tell people not to do that kind of stuff because of the reasoning behind it.. how can I get them to know about my ptsd without telling them directly or if not telling them that then atleast letting them know what happens when they do that to me. Please help, thank you 🙏

Set boundaries and don't hang around people that make you feel uncomfortable

DBT classes will help you understand your boundaries even if you think you have none you do ti start 18 inches around you is your personal space

I think you should just say generally that what they're doing makes you uncomfortable. You don't have to go into detail. Most (good) people will stop if they know they're hurting you in some way

Oh dear I feel you 😘 makes you wish we came with instructions or warning labels on our forehead 🤣 if these people are in your life everyday you should never be ashamed to tell your story...well a watered down one. Don't be ashamed to tell people that you have triggers...you suffer love not them.
