I wish avoiding the scale worked for me, but sadly I've noticed that if I don't weigh myself I drop even more weight and restrict myself even more š

I do not weigh myself or own a scale, that is usually a good place to start, I used to stand backward on the doctor scale or deny having my weight taken if I was not doing well, I still donāt really look at my body in the mirror out of habit, my full length mirror only comes out if I need to check shoes with an outfit, lol. But when it comes to triggers I think we can only avoid them for so long because our triggers are involved in literally everything we do, our entire day revolves around food and meals.

I'll be honest, I'm still working on learning to cope, but I found a massive improvement in my well being once I stopped weighing myself. I got rid of my scale a few years back and I make a point of only weighing myself once or twice a year, something that's necessary for my medication. It's hard to just stop but I've found that it's improved my life a ton.
