I’m a suspected OSDD-1b system so switching is a bit different for me. I have never blacked out or left the front as far as I know. However, I do have a lot of emotional amnesia. I also do not switch unless I’m going through an active traumatic event, and even then it’s just co-consciousness or co-fronting with another alter. It’s definitely cool if you want to be friends! :)

We have OSDD-1B so switching comes a bit easier bc of less amnesia, but it can be really hard especially if the alter switching in doesnt know what they're doing. I guess the best way to get around that is to make sure everyone in the system knows how to do the job to prevent the sense of "where am i what am i doing" bit? And we're cool being friends :)

Thank you actually this was an idea I had a long time ago and then forgot about😅 so to know someone else uses it and that it's been useful reminds me about it and that I should probably do that so thank you so much^^

I know for us, our host and another caretaker are always sort of around when it comes to work and classes, so if someone else switches in there's always a system member who kinda knows what's going on.

@crescentnebula But identifying triggers and what other elements can potentially cause others to front is a really smart idea. We've got a big list in our simply plural app that we always try to be mindful of when in public!

@crescentnebula omg we also have simply plural I would totally understand if this is a no but we would really like to have more system friends so if you want to chat and share those that would be kool if not I fully respect that. we think we are an OSDD1B system so we don't have fronting namnisia at least (although I've started to get a little worried that we might have more than I think😅) but yeah I might try and ask I know our gatekeeper's typically always around

When we were diagnosed it really slowed us down. Not a lot of people wanted to hire us. So we started noting down what triggered us out. (ie Radar loves the smell of motor oil/gasoline, Ira gets triggered when someone feels a "negative emotion" that overwhelms them, etc etc) We personally keep it in our notes on our phone. But you can always use a notepad too! Hope this helps a bit!

@idek_bear once you figure out the triggers you can keep everyone on a similar page and keep working or keep doing whatever it is you're doing!

@idek_bear Sorry, I replied to your comment and I don't know why it didn't put it under yours but um it's on the bottom
