Hey. Anyone women experience their hyperactivity/impulsivity improving on Concerta but their attention symptoms not as much? Adderall and Vyvanse made me too jittery but we’re better for attention. I do best on IR Ritalin but sadly can’t just take that a few times a day, only as a PM booster, due to legit addiction concerns. Just want to know peoples experiences.

Yea. And or your doc. It can take several different formulations of meds to find what works for you.

yes. i was recently diagnosed/starting meds and this is the first one i’m on. i cant maintain attention unless i force myself to pay attention to it, like how i had to unmedicated. would it be recommended to bring this up to my mom? (i’m 17 lmao)

So hey. At least this combo somewhat helps my focus, helps my impulsivity/hyperactivity. And doesn’t make me hypomanic.

I’ve also tried Focalin. Literally nothing gets it all. Guanfacine made me even more impulsive and faint without knowing it. Cost me my masters degree program.

I’m in the same boat, concerta helps me not be so impulsive and jittery, but I still can’t control my focus at all. Adderall helped me with focus but I was a jittery mess. Don’t know what to do about it.
