Does anyone here have IBS-D? It has ruled most of my life. The only thing that remotely works for me is Imodium, but I have to take A LOT of them at a time to help. What has worked for you? Thanks

Sorry about that. It’s like finger prints, everyone is different. Autoimmune is so tricky, I know most doctors hate autoimmune, almost as much as we do! 😥

Dicyclomine didn't help me at all :(

Mine was so bad they put me on Dicyclomine PRN, it really helps with the cramping. Now 10 years later my IBS has done a complete turn around to severe constipation. I stopped wheat in my diet. I am not completely gluten free, i just avoid wheat when I can, it has helped a lot with the diarrhea.

Hi. I’m so sorry that you’re struggling. I have IBS -D. Imodium helps me when the diarrhea gets out of control. I try to not let it get to that point. I follow the Low Fodmap Diet to help control my symptoms. It has really helped me. It seemed overwhelming at first but now it has become second nature. You an do a Google search to find out about it. I also quit smoking cigarettes 14 months ago and that helped a lot. I work on keeping my stress until control by meditation. Best of luck!
