That's pretty much how I feel. People can hit me and I'll have no response apparently (according to my bf)

i’ve had them since i was 8 but it was misdiagnosed as adhd. yes, mine look like i’m staring into space. i’m 20 now. before i got on a medication that fixed my issue, i had been having them for so long that instead of lasting 20-30 seconds like they used to, i was able to pull myself out of them in 4-5 seconds. and i don’t know i’m doing it in the moment but when i come out of it i knew what had happened.

@Mylife826 as long as i take my meds i don’t have any form of seizures. i take 1 keppra (don’t know the dose) and 2 lamotrigine (150 mg each) twice daily. if i miss a dose, i will have absence seizures as soon as the meds wear off and eventually have a grand mal one

@JamiRich2020 , such an odd experience when I do not realize it happens

I have different types. I just had a seizure study and found out that sometimes, I do not know that I am even having one, it is so mild( just brain fog for a few seconds). Other times it I get super fluster and cannot speak properly for a few minutes. Or I have done odd tasks, while somewhat alert(dumping out cat liter and vacuuming it). Can anyone relate??
