the last two weeks have been so hard for me. i’m having some of the worst health anxiety of my life, and i feel so out of control. an intrusive thought comes to mind and suddenly it’s all i can focus on. i feel on-edge all the time, and as soon as some aspect of life gets easier, my brain latches onto something else to hyperfixate on.

I’ve had intrusive thoughts OCD and GAD for nearly 10 years now and they still catch me off guard sometimes. Weather shifts definitely affect my anxiety, lack of exercise and unhealthy food send me completely out of control. My therapist once said that people who have anxiety are hypersensitive beings therefore tiny bodily changes are noticeable to them. So these small tinges in chest like you mentioned, one weird headache, a heartbeat somewhere on the body where it shouldn’t be and it sends anxious people into a spiral of intrusive thoughts about health, but really everyone experiences these normal body functions everyday, it’s just sadly anxious brains are hyper aware about everything therefore it’s a lot more noticeable. It’s so hard to convince yourself it’s just anxiety though, I know because I’ve been there and still find myself googling random things at 4am because I can’t sleep. Sending love to everyone struggling, you’re not alone x

I just moved up to my companies corporate offices. I'm autistic and many other things. It takes everything in me not to blurt out words. I was talking to the CFO and wanted to say masturbate, idk why. I always feel like I don't belong

Meee too ✋ All if a sudden again too. I wonder if any weather shifts are to blame for any of that🤔

@Katharina weather shifts are awful, i always have to remind myself that they cause flare-ups. but then i forget and get paranoid again anyway lol

@avian 😞 I don’t know if it’ll help but I just ordered one of those heart rate watches to check it and I see something happen prior maybe I do to lessen before it gets bad
