only if you're lactose intolerance is mild to moderate. it will not help you if you have an allergy or if you can't have dairy because it triggers an autoimmune flare-up. my mom has old woman lactose intolerance that she frequently ignores, but any otc lactase is helpful for her. I do not have that luxury lol
