I’m taking 150mg as a booster to my 30mg of Lexapro since it’s effectiveness was v weak last year! I think it helps a lot but remember to eat a solid snack or meal with it esp if you take other meds with it. I usually take my birth control pill, 10g Lexapro, and Wellbutrin with the meal I have after waking up. It is the most expensive med I take at around $30USD 💕

@PinkFairy I’ll add: taking those initial meds in the morning/noon makes me tired (not to the point where I need to lie down or can’t focus, so if I’m in class or doing something I’m fine). I usually wake up about 1-2hrs before I plan on starting my day to eat, take meds, and either rest in bed or sleep!

I liked it at first (boosted my libido, increased energy) but as someone with anxiety, I felt like it made my attacks/symptoms more apparent and frequent so I eventually decided to stop it.

@Noelle2772 I know MANY people who loved their results and eventually were able to ween off of it confidently. Everyone is different!

It won't help if you have schizophrenia

@JohnBurley actually it can help a bit with schizophrenia… Welbutrin stabilizes dopamine levels and schizophrenia is caused by low levels of dopamine.. as is depression,.. so it could help with depressive symptoms a schizophrenic person would have

It's made a huge difference in my life and I'm very grateful for it. I need to take the same amount (450mg) as my husband who is two and half times my size, because my body just metabolizes it differently but there's no shame there. If it works, it's worth it.

I’m on it and have had a good experience. I don’t take it for depression, though. I take it for ADHD and anxiety (apparently it makes anxiety worse in most people but for some it decreases anxiety.. my theory is ADHD peeps have less anxiety when taking it) I will say, it has improved my depressive symptoms associated with ADHD as well. Just make sure you don’t miss more than one dose ever, it is something you need to taper in order to safely come off of.

I've been taking it for a few years and it works well! One common side effect is increased libido though, which is not something I was prepared for lol

I've been on it for about a year, and it's pretty much saved my life, and helped me quit smoking. Definitely helped level out my moods and helped a bit with my concentration 🙌

i’ve been on it on 2 separate occasions now. first time, worked like a charm + gave me quite a bit of a boost + noticeable increase in motivation within days of starting. came off of all meds for personal reasons shortly after. round number 2 was a few years later at this point + i experienced the similar spike in motivation, however this time it made me incredibly and unreasonably angry and irritable. i’ve had friends and relatives that have had fantastic results + have been on it for years, however it wasn’t right for me ! wishing you luck on your medication journey! be kind to yourself + take it easy 😎

@nizza1228 I appreciate your comment! I'll be sure to look for the irritation. Just in case
