I relapsed today, I was five months clean and then everything came crashing down and i broke I understand everyone that ever brought a razor to their wrist, I get their pain and I get why they keep going back im sad to say I would've did it earlier, too I don't condone it, I wish I could hold those people and say everything will be alright but I also get it I just had to get this off my chest or else it would eat me alive

I highly recommend trying the harmless app, counts how many day you have been harm free, it lets you mark urges , helps by giving you thing to try and do to instead to try and stop the urge

I'm sorry you are going through this. Please know you are not alone. Be kind to yourself, it was a slip-up, not a full-blown relapse. Everyone makes mistakes and gives in to temptation sometimes. Acknowledging you've made the mistake is the first step to healing from it. Forgive yourself. Hugs and prayers.
I'd like to share a song that has helped me get through my toughest times and slip-ups. Accidents Can Happen by Sixx A.M. (Lyrics) Don't give up, it takes a while I have seen this look before And it's alright You're not alone If you don't love this anymore I hear that you've slipped again I'm here 'cause I know you'll need a friend And you know that accidents can happen And it's okay, We all fall off the wagon sometimes It's not your whole life It's only one day You haven't thrown everything away. Take some time and learn to breathe And remember what it means To feel alive And to believe Something more than what you see I know there's a price for this But some things in life you must resist And you know that accidents can happen And it's okay, We all fall off the wagon sometimes It's not your whole life It's only one day You haven't thrown everything away. I hear that you've slipped again I'm here 'cause I know you'll need a friend And you know that accidents can happen And it's okay, We all fall off the wagon sometimes It's not your whole life It's only one day You haven't thrown everything away. You know that accidents can happen And it's okay, We all fall off the wagon sometimes It's not your whole life It's only one day You haven't thrown everything away. So don't give up It takes a while.

Its an active addiction so you got to treat it as such hun. People who carry it for decades still relapse here and there, it's an ongoing battle. All you can do is tend to the wounds, forgive yourself, and keep moving foreward. Messing up once isn't full relapse, it's a mere bump in the road. It'll be okay, it's like removing yourself to a toxic relationship. It gives you the good so it can get away with the bad, cushioning it.
I understand, and I’m sorry you’re feeling like this. I am also going through a really low period at the moment, lower than I’ve been in a long time. But I keep on trudging through minute by minute, day by day, I know you can too.

I totally understand.. Except I haven't even made it 5 months sober yet. But I keep trying and so can you💜
@Kino26 thank you, I appreciate it
