What special diets or regimen does do follow? How do you deal with progression?

I'm not falling but I'm off balance and I run into things like walls that I know are there but still run right into them. I'm on a high dose of prednisone for now

I started with a DMT right away and mine is mild

I guess as the disease progresses, our neurologists start to look at stronger treatments. I'm still taking tecfidera, which is a first line of defense DMT. I am going for a brain šŸ§  MRI today, in fact. I am long overdue, and I know things have progressed and I'm also in a relapse right now. I'm hoping my neurologist will discuss new treatment. I have fallen 4 times since Thanksgiving - and that's a lot for me.

@Hortense Any side effects from that medication? I'm afraid to start it.

@isthisseattaken there's a little bit of "flushing" or redness in the face or chest the first week maybe. But it's tolerable. After that, nothing. It's easy peasy - just pills. I just read my MRI report, and if I understand it correctly I actually don't have any active lesions, and no significant progression to speak of. All of which is great news. I have 2 spinal MRI'S this week, which may not show any disease progression either. And then I expect my Dr won't change my treatment after all.
