Wearing ear plugs (I now wear loop brand), and not being afraid/feel guilty for allowing youtube/screen time. My kid uses jlab kids over ear headphones, and that cuts down on the noise. I also require myself to take a 20 minute "chill" period when we get home from work/school to decompress. Then I'm more able to have energy to cook dinner, eat dinner, facilitate homework, handle playing a game, shower, hair wash, bedtime routine. Then my own dinner/shower/hair wash/bedtime routine.

Will you take advice from non-parents?
@Eren2273 anything helps. My family and I are struggling as I'm chronically ill single mom with a 5year old and my mom is in her mid 60s and has to due radiation therapy and has broken her foot
@SlothMomma94 Do you have any friends that could help you out? If not, do you mind if I ask what you're having trouble with? Cooking for your kid, playing with them, etc
