Sadcupcake I have had cervical spine degeneration for over 30 years. My first symptom was severe vertigo with the spinning so bad I was unable to stay at work and unable to drive. I had surgery within a month or two to relieve pressure on my spinal cord. Over the years I’ve had periods of dizziness that last anywhere from 1 hr to three weeks. I’ve had many MRIs of the neck and the brain, and balance tests. Nothing conclusive except that my neck continues to deteriorate, a second surgery would be too dangerous because of the scar tissue from the first surgery. So I just try to treat the symptoms as they come.
