I cant tell if I should take a higher dose or lower my dose..maybe just stop altogether? but when I do I start overthinking things about my life. A lot of 'what ifs'. Like I'll start feeling bad for not being productive when I stop and my mind just spirals out of it lol

@Jace.hiThere that's rough then because it's a transition. Do you feel this psychiatrist is really listening to what you feel your needs are in order to be on top of your game every day? I remember when I would save up and not take medication for a week or two and then use it when I felt it was needed, it was hard to do that because then the dosage would get off. Like, suddenly the same dose that worked perfect weeks earlier suddenly got me all jittery. I honestly have found better success with OTC supplements.

Are you working with a psychiatrist? usually they'll start you out small and then work you up to your sweet spot.
@Skywalker yeah, I just moved to Arizona and had my first appointment with a new Dr. Because I'm new to him, he doesn't feel comfortable prescribing me for adderall so I stopped to saved what I have left
It's hard to say especially with thoughts becoming chaotic about it, I'd say it can be worth a try since it can always be relowered, and if you're unsure you could get a refill of the dosage at now, and ask for a higher so you can fall back immediately if need be, and stopping is hard to fully think about too, but i think it's overall better to try, than to feel you struggle more without it
