hello everyone. I have type 1 diabetes obviously. I have been struggling with it for now a year and half. been really hard since getting a new diagnosis of hypothyroidism and having a thyroid medication and my doctors won't listen. and I have been sick and then my sugars have been all over the place. I had them really decently controlled but they would still spike or try to go low but not too bad. but now I can't get them under control. I am starting to feel like a failure. and I don't even want to eat because of it. any advice or encouragement would help. thank you so much
I feel your pain my friend I had diabetes since I was 7 and it was hard for me to handle it myself all these years I've been going to dka even plus I even have Corona and it was still hard to handle in right now I am 19 and my name is Leah and this is my life of a story that I understand your pain diabetes can be hard but they don't mean us people who have it is strong enough to deal with it a lot of people do not understand how people feel when they have diabetes I lost a lot of people from this disease but I will not give up for these people that I promise to keep it up there and I really do feel your pain just one day they find a sure cure for it just like cancer I really feel bad for cancer more is what they have to go through but whoever had diabetes out there I feel your pain and I believe we going to make it🙏🙏❤️❤️✋✋😥👍
WauLeah thank you so much that really helps. Its been a tough day and weeks. And I don't understand how to keep going when it just keeps knocking me down. And I have other issues then just diabetes. I am getting help for them. And I know its just a temporary issue right and im sure I will get my sugars back in check like I did. But my hope is going down right now.
I use a massage chair and it works sometimes. I don't usually go to dka until it hits 500. But I do have doctors appointment on Wednesday to see what is going on because I do know something is going on. But I just try and try and it feels like nothing is working and I have nothing to show. And I can't tell you how many times I have been exposed to covid. And im sure I have had but didn't get tested because where I live they don't help you get better so your just a part of a statistic and I didn't want to be that and I just tried my best to use what I had at home and quarantine myself.
I got diagnosed in June last year. And I’ve been so worn out! We all do our best and that is all we can do. Things like our blood sugar will never be perfect, so we shouldn’t be stressing out about the days we can’t seem to catch a break. We all know our bodies better than anyone else.
Britster i got diagnosed in May last year, and so its been a struggle. So I have had good months and then lately it feels like I can't catch a break and I just want to cry.
