Hi, I have a question for any of those who would like to try and help with relationships. I have severe anxiety, and making friends for me is very easy somehow. However, whenever I am with someone that wants to become more than friends it's always like a Star that burns too fast. It's great for a week or month then I start getting panicky about every thing I'm doing and overthinking every interaction we have together. Which, in the past has been warranted worries cause we usually break up not soon after. I kinda think it's me doing it to myself like a self fulfilling prophecy, but I'm not sure. Am I the only person who has this issue consistently?

I can't seem to be able to keep a relationship at all. Last person I dated was over 2 years ago. There have been other guys I've talked to since then but none interested in dating. It gets lonely but I do also enjoy being alone.

Have you tried dating apps maybe? I met my boyfriend on a dating app because of my social anxiety, and while it took a lot of energy and nerves to actually go on dates, I have never been more in love. It's always worth a shot!

@CloverCorgi yeah I met my partner on there, and I am very infatuated with them. But I worry about every minute detail and worry about if I'm saying the right or wrong thing and if they're gonna reciprocate to my advances and junk

I use to have this issue! A lot of it could just be demisexual stuff that you arent aware of or for me it was thinking that if i said no to being asked, i would lose them. A good way is to think on it instead of saying yes to a relationship, thats what me and my gf now did and we are nearly 6 months strong. Longer than most my relationships when i had this issue.

@FrogDe honestly yes! Talking to my partner, I realized I'm super demisexual and i really like this person I am talking to but it worries me sometimes cause I wonder how they think and junk
